'The Long Walk Home'
Lucy's chosen charity is:
Parley for the Oceans
It was really tough to decide what charity to donate to but I've decided on this one because they aim to protect and raise awareness for the fragility of our oceans and end the destruction. And without the oceans, we won't survive. They state 'Our mission is to rapidly transform human-made materials and systems to work in harmony with the ecosystem of nature, and to inspire and empower more impactful participation in the environmental cause.'
It's sad but they also point out 'Humans have altered every corner of the globe. Greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels are heating the planet, pushing the oceans and climate to irreversible tipping points. The loss of even one species can set in motion a total ecological collapse.'
So with funds raised for the charity, 100% of every donation directly supports the Parley Global Cleanup Network and implementation of the Parley AIR Strategy: Avoid. Intercept. Redesign. Go to their website to read more about their incredible work!

Charlie's chosen charity:
St Barnabas Hospice
My wonderful mother in law Barabara died last year of cancer and I always said that I would like to raise money for the fantastic charities that supported her in her end of life care.
They were brilliant, caring, understanding and always there for all of us.
